LightCoce at the UniSMART Community event
03/12/2021

On 2 December 2021, the Lightcoce Project played a major role in the annual Assembly and Dinner of UniSMART, the Foundation of the University of Padua.

During the event, UniSMART Community partners – companies and institutions from different sectors – gathered with University staff, professors and researchers to network and exchange views and best practices.

This year’s main topic was Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The Dean of the University of Padua, Professor Daniela Mapelli, gave a speech focussing on the territorial consequences of the plan, shedding light on all advantages companies can gain by collaborating with the University.

The event was also an opportunity for networking and discovering what the Foundation is doing to foster innovation and collaboration among different companies and institutions.

That is why Lightcoce was invited as an active participant to the event. The Assembly was the perfect opportunity to let UniSMART partners and stakeholders learn more about the project.

During the networking session, UniSMART Project Managers set up a Lightcoce corner, where participants could discover the project, its objectives and its impact on the sectors involved.

More than 300 hundred participants attended the event, among whom several industry professionals interested in Lightcoce Test Beds. Therefore, the UniSMART Assembly was the perfect occasion to promote Lightcoce Open Call by showcasing all services offered and the potential of the Lightcoce ecosystem to the many companies that took part in the event.
